In Ueno Park, simply 3 minutes' walk from Ueno Station, the National deposit of Western Art (Kokuritsu Seiyō Bijutsukan) was in-built 1959 to plans by known Swiss creator designer. The exhibits, mostly created of works by necessary French artists, come back chiefly from the collections of Japanese bourgeois and art collector Kojiro Matsukata, bought throughout visits to Europe early within the twentieth century. Within the yard square measure works by French sculptor Francois Auguste Rene Rodin, whereas highlights within square measure canvases by Impressionists Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, painter, and King of Great Britain withdraw. Hot Tip: The deposit boasts a wonderful building with nice views over the yard.
